Harbour Volleyball

Tuesday nights on the North Shore belong to Harbour Volleyball's Twilight Beach Volleyball League – mixed 4x4, all ages and skill levels, down at Mairangi Bay Beach Centre from 6pm until sunset. It's social sport in the truest sense: grab your mates, pick a team name, and see you on the sand. The bar and café stay open once the last set finishes.

From October 2026, Our Projects came on board as the league's naming rights sponsor – it now runs officially as the Our Projects Twilight Beach Volleyball League.

LegaSea

LegaSea is the public voice of the New Zealand Sport Fishing Council, set up in 2012 to look after the health of the country's coastal fisheries and marine environment. Their work spans advocacy, education – including the FishCare programme for young anglers – and research, all pointed at one goal: more fish in the water for future generations of New Zealanders.

Special Children's Christmas Parties

Since 1998, Special Children's Christmas Parties has run some of the biggest Christmas events in the country for children living with life-threatening illness, physical or intellectual impairment, domestic violence, or underprivileged circumstances. Events are held nationwide, including here in Auckland and the Waikato/Bay of Plenty, with stage shows, rides, games, face painting and a visit from Santa – all built around giving these kids one properly joyful day.
